The Crossing is fast approaching!

1. Start time: departure from Miguasha Beach at 9:30 a.m. Atlantic Time / 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

2. Swimmer tracking: as last year, we will use the Track app. Please register at https://group.track.rs/ using the passphrase baie-des-chaleurs.

This tracking app, running on your phone, allows the safety team, the organizing committee, and your supporters to follow your progress live during the event. Please follow the instructions and register before Saturday morning. A team member will be available on Saturday morning to assist with registration and technical issues, but we would appreciate it if everyone could register by Friday noon. For swimmers without an escort: we encourage you to place your phone inside your tow float so tracking can work properly.

3. Distance change: if your training has not gone as planned (or for any other reason), you may reduce your distance to 3 km or 1 km. Please let us know of any changes by Thursday evening, August 14.

4. Kayaks: for those who asked us to find a kayak, payment is due this Sunday. Please proceed with payment as soon as possible if you haven’t already done so.

5. Saturday morning shuttle: departure at 7:20 a.m. Atlantic Time / 6:20 a.m. Eastern Time from Charlo Beach. The organizing team will be there shortly before 7:00 a.m., in the “North-West” parking lot (marked with the orange point on the map). If you are going directly to Miguasha Beach, please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start, i.e., 8:45 a.m. Atlantic Time / 7:45 a.m. Eastern Time.
