Directives 3km
The event is fast approaching!
1. Start time: departure from Charlo Beach at 11:15 a.m. Atlantic Time.
2. Pre-event information: if you haven’t done so already, please review our August 7 publication here.
3. Registration: please arrive 45 to 60 minutes before the start of the event, that is, before 10:30 a.m. Registrations will be taken at the location indicated by the red circle on the map.
4. Safety buoy: if you are not accompanied by a kayaker or paddleboarder, we strongly recommend using an open-water swim buoy. We will have a few available for rent at a cost of $10, or for purchase at a cost of $30. Please bring cash.
5. Switching distances: if you wish to switch from the 3 km to the 1 km event, it is possible. Please notify us by Thursday evening.
6. August 7 publication: if you have not done so already, we invite you to review our August 7 publication here.
7. Withdrawal: if you decide not to take the start, we would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know as soon as possible by replying to this email.
